Mega Brands - Fallout Playbook

Being a huge fan of the Fallout video game series, I was ecstatic when it was decided I would be working on the playbook. I leaned heavily on the aesthetic from the game and tried to incorporate as much from it as possible. Including the V.A.T.S. targeting system to denote the different sections of the build, a Pip-Boy device at the start of each section showing a fig assembly, designing the background with a worn out and rusty feel, as well as using iconography and other visual details from the video game.

Mega Brands - The Witcher Playbook

This was the first playbook I was able to work on as the sole designer, and being a huge fan of The Witcher 3 video game, I couldn't have asked for a better line to start with. I designed the background to look like old medieval parchment paper, with the map of the game world and Geralt's two swords sketched into it. There is a card game within the video game called Gwent, which I leaned into to denote the different sections of the build, each with its own specific colour and Gwent card. There are many other easter eggs from the game found in the design that a like-minded fan will appreciate.

School - Montreality Magazine

This was a group project that I did with four other classmates. Our task was to create a complete magazine including articles and advertisements. I was named the Editor in Chief by the team. This position included overseeing the design process, delegating tasks, making sure everyone did their part on time, as well as final adjustments. Everyone was able to contribute something and the final result is thanks to this group effort.

School - Metallica CD Booklet

This is a CD booklet I created for Metallica’s Greatest Hits. I decided to go with a steampunk look instead of the typical grunge you’d normally associate with the band. I created several cogs of all different shapes and sizes and went about using them as the main focus. For the lyrics I wanted to have each spread look different from one another, therefore the placement of cogs and the song titles differ from each spread, as well as using different hand drawn elements.
